AkidoBased on the principles of centering and flow, which allow us to live our lives calmly with clarity and intention.  It is about learning the principles of Ki, or life force energy, and discovering how this can dramatically impact our everyday life.

This “Mediation in Motion” course is not taught as a traditional martial art, rather it consists of gentle movement in a safe, positive, and supportive environment.  Participants experience how to transform conflict, anger, negative thoughts and emotions into healthy, sacred boundaries and harmony, through an opening in perspective that allows for infinite possibility and deep personal inquiry.  Centering and more fully understanding ourselves are keys to contentment and the ability to manifest abundance and happiness.  Come and study this gentle art with others who are seeking a positive uplifting sense of self and learn how to interact in a more harmonious and loving manner.

Qigong

Qigong is an ancient Chinese health care system that integrates physical postures, breathing techniques and focused intention. There is an integration of physical postures, breathing techniques, and focused intentions through gentle, rhythmic movements is an excellent exercise programs for beginning, or a complementary program for those already exercising. Qigong reduces stress, builds stamina, increases vitality, and enhances the immune system. It has also been found to improve cardiovascular, respiratory, circulatory, lymphatic and digestive functions.
